Yet another first for Ecoustics, lol. Build: 1 Igloo cooler 2 DD CX6x9 1 DD C1b 1 Trolling motor battery 1 Oreilly AutoParts cigarette lighter Xscorpion wire, relay, rca, fuse holders switches, etc Commence the WIN! Redundant switches inside and out to keep from switching it on accidentally. 40a relay to switch the amp and cig-lighter (to be used to charge the Ipod) Test fit for batt and amp. Still need to loom the wire, but its pretty dam loud. Rolled it out in the parking lot and played it, highs are sick. The lid rattles a little and discolors the sound pretty bad w/ too much bass. Female end RCA's are mounted on the outside of the cooler so you can just plug an RCA to 3.5mm jack in and play it w/ an Ipod. The cig-lighter inside allows you to charge the Ipod if your batt is low. The customer is planning to use it at little league baseball games. Tomorrow I'm going to build a little box w/ a velcro lid between the amp and batt so the owner can have a place to put his Ipod cords. |
