Ok, maybe I am wrong but I am having a hard time finding some top quality 8" subs. I understand that an 8" sub is not a top priority sub but I am curious if anyone knows any good quality 8" subs besides JL.

Also has anyone heard any of the new PG subs?

e8a.22 and elemental designs BIG 8 are too phenominal subs...

ED reccomends not putting less than 500w rms on the 'big 8' because its that crazy hardcore...

check it out man :-)

I currently have 2 Boston Acoustic Rally Series in a bandpass box that I think sound great for 2 8". My question is, does anyone think that one 10" eD will hit harder than 2 8" subs?

A sales rep told me that they dont make anymore 8" subs at elemental design but will be probably making some in the distant future.

check out www.audiohole.com - eD may still have a big 8 left or some e8a.22's

i think one 10" eD has a chance to hit harder than ur two 8" subs but a 12" eD will definately

Bacon,

If I do get this eD 10" or 12 should i get the box ported or sealed. I want one that drops bottom but at the same time not sacrificing space.

they dont need much space for ported, like 1 cF for the 10 and 1.5 cF for the 12 ported...tune to about 30 Hz too

ported = more SPL, sealed = more SQ

exactly

so i would go ported with the 10 or 12", the 12 will be abit louder cuz it has very slighly higher xmax and has more Sd (surface area)

good stuff tho man
