Depends on if you'll be running at a 2 ohm load or 1 ohm. What price do you want to stay around for an amp?

you can get a decent system for that, id stay with a single 12, instead of 2, save cost on quanity. make sure you buy good wire, and a good amp. i like the idea of all alpine, reliable equipment.

ok. will there be any difference with having one sub compared to 2 subs? Or is it just the same basically.

if u mean 1 500wrms vs 2 500wrms sub

obviously it will be double output\loudness

BUT obviously too u will need a amp thats puts out double power , double the box as well & u may need to upgrade ur alternator

IF u mean instead of a single 500wrms sub OR 2 250wrms sub it will be a little bit more otput but double the amt of box space occupied

IMHO : stick with the 1 12 type R set , in the right box it can get more than enough loud for a daily set

with a

ebay shud have it cheaper too

& thats a nice budget set which will sound good ...
