alright, I dont have a lot of dough, so these are the subs that I am trying to decide between. I could get two 12 inch alpine type R's, two 12 inch JL w3v2's, or just one 12 inch JL w6v2.
The type R's are only about 120$ each so it would only cost 240$ for the pair. The JL w3v2's are about 175$ each so that would cost me 350$ for the pair, and the JL w6v2 I could get for about 340$.
what setup would be the best bang for my buck? Thanks.

what are you aiming for? SPL, SQ? you want better Sound Quality? or just Earth Shaking Bass? and do you want to go with a ported box? or sealed? be more specific

What are the pros and cons of getting a sealed box verses a ported box.
This is my first car audio system, so I am not really smart when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for the help.
