hey everyone no one wanted to help me in the AMPS section so im gunna post in here. if you had to choose between a alpine mrp-f450, and a rockford fosgate 501x(older model 125x4 RMS) both in good working and physical condition, which would you pick?

Both good quality amps. I'd get whichever costs less.... unless the rf is used and the alpine is new then get that.

both are used. i do know that the RF does not have a frequency knob, it just has the hpf/lpf/full. and do you think that since the RF is an older model that the ratings and quality may not be up to todays standards?

If it doesnt even have an adjustable filter then definetly get the alpine. That says something about the quality of amp it is.

I own an Alpine mrp-f450 and it has served me well. Powered two 12" MTX 6000's with it. Good amp.
