Fuck MS, if it wasn't for Mike's group buy on the Revo's I would probably be buying the 9515... :-(
I plan on trying out both in the future.

The 9515 is very loud on 1000w and up, and it can take up to 3000w.

The best I did with it was 145.5 db in a vehicle thats not ideal for street class by any means.

well the amp you have, is in fact, NOT the same amp. yours is made in korea unlike the one pictured, which is made in the beautiful gunshine state,florida...

yes, you have the same model amp pictured. however, the amp on roe is not to be mistaken for the amp you have pictured above. totally different caliper amps.

its a nice amp i just dont want people to be confused.

Nevermind it would cost around $550 to do what needs to be done.

$325 shipped(9515")
$150 recone to D4(maybe a lil less)
$80 shipped to DD,there and back for recone.

Thats not far from DD prices BNIB.

You wouldn't buy a perfectly good dd then send it away for recone if you need a different coil configuration. Either buy the needed configuration or a blown motor and have that reconed.

well then you would just buy MS' subwoofer. its dual 4. the xz2500 does 2500 @ 2 ohm. so it wires up perfect...

The Kicker ZX2500 produces 1250 watts RMS at 4 ohms, that's plenty of power for the DD 9515 to get moving.

thats not the same amp...

and i'm just saying it would be a shame to not use the amp to the full potential when you can easily buy the same sub from someone else for the same price. even if it's 50 more your getting twice the power sent to it. easy financial decision, the amps not right for the sub...

Are you retarded? First you say the same price and then you say for 50 more, that sounds pretty stupid if you ask me. Also why are you saying the "amps not fine for the sub"? Stop being an idiot, that amp would be just fine and did you ever think about the electrical requirements to feed an amp that puts out 2,500 watts RMS? Perhaps the person that will purchase it doesn't have the charging system to support 2.5 kilo-watts so running 1200 watts might be a good idea. Use your brain if you have one, seriously.

let me start by saying fvuck you..

the kid owns a zx2500. it puts out 2500 @ 2 ohm. this sub can only be wired to 1 or 4 ohm. therefore its not the right sub for the amp. why would the buyer buy this sub other than two gold members telling them to? you don't know anymore than i do about the charging system. any fvuckin shmcuck knows to buy dual 1 or 4 to get the most out of the amp. just because you have an itch for participating in arguments doesn't mean you shouldn't use common sense. any other time you (a smart member) would say buy dual 1 or 4 so i dont understand what the fvuck your argument is. lmao

i said same price because there very well may be/is/have been dd 9515f's that sell for this price, a little more or even less. so why not buy the one with the right voice coil configuration to getthe most out of your amp?

I very RARELY see 9515s in such great condition for 300 shipped, actually, I never have. Also, 1250 watts will get a 9515 moving just fine. Also, people have run those Kicker amps at 1 ohm just fine so I'd like to end with saying f uck you right back :-)

I bought my 9515d freshly reconed from Canaan for $325, then sold it to a friend that goes to shows with us for $300.

But we are all good friends and it was local lol.
