I have an account with Choice Hotels, so I am looking at the Comfort Inn. Can someone give me the address to the Expo center that Heatwave will be at. I will see what I can get rooms at.

Yea, I try to get the business discount as well as if we get a couple rooms. Everyone let me know how many rooms we need and we can get it taking care of.

Quentin, I'll give you the dutch oven you mess with me, or maybe the Hitler lol.

True Story:

Custom Sounds, which hosts the "Texas Heat Wave" has many shops across Texas, I went into a fairly large one here in the Austin area.

I walk in.

"hey do yall have a db meter"

clerk: "a what?"

"a decibel meter?"

clerk: "oh yeah, but we can't do it now"

"that's fine, I was just wondering what the cost was to use it for like a half hour to 45 minutes."

clerk: "it'll be around $40"

"alright, that's about what I thought. what kind is it? Like, AC or Termlab"

clerk: "(confused look on face), let me call our installer up here, he should know"

installer: "what's up?"

"yeah I was just wondering if yall had a db meter, and what type it was"

installer: "a what?"

"a decibel meter"

installer: "a what?"

"a decibel meter, it measures the pressure level that a speaker can produce. like the amount of air it's moving around in the vehicle"

installer: " oh, you mean a DB meter?"

"yeah...."

installer: "f.uck no we don't have one of those, they're too damn expensive. you won't find one of those in Austin"

I just left after that. Custom Sounds hires people, and puts them in managerial type positions, that don't know what a decibel meter is. And they host USACi evenets?

no sh.t i went through that exact same thing here in san antonio. i ended up telling them there a bunch of fckin retards and went over to where they were actually having the dB drag to get some real info.

custom sounds is a bunch of dumbasses. sad to see who they actually hire and don't. oh well.

oh and my friend who had his two jl 12" W0's on a jl 250.1 his subs cut out now and i cant' even figure out whats wrong except for its an amp problem. something internal on the remote i'm guessing cause when the cars on it gets a steady remote 12v but the amp turns on and off. i'll post this elsewhere.

haha. anyways custom sounds sucks
