that dang dash install kit was a pain in the butt, the correct one didnt fit, i had to use one that fits the 80 something through 98 grand am and the one i did it for was for a 2001 lol

oh im done with it, i just wanted to know if i was the only one having problems with the HU install

pics? The thing is and this goes for every install, you need to be willing to modify sh!t ! I have done many many many HU installs and I have never counted on that the face kit would work 100% this is why I have a Dremel with about every attachement you can buy. Polo..

I got a 99 Grand AM SE I did an install with. HU was a little hairy, sticks out a couple inches from the dash.

Rock'in 2 12" Eclipse Ti's off an RD 3250.1, Zapco 750.1 pushing MB-Quart Q Series 6.5" components.

It's my DD, and I love it :D.

GMs and Chryslers are a pain to put HUs in since they need those adapter kits and they sometimes don't work quite right.

I've had to modify them a few times.
