I am purchasing 2 15" Alpine Type-R And was going to build an enclosure. I am confused though on whether not i should build a port into, what would be the differences from a box with a port vs. without
If you want louder and listen to mostly rap, go ported. It will be boomy and not sound as good as the ported. It's possible to port it and tune the box low and get a very good mix of both.
If you look for sound quality and being accurate, go sealed. It won't be as loud though.
