Im thinking of getting 2 12'' JL W6's, I can get them for about $420, Since I cant afford 2 W7's, Which amp should I get to power these? The 1000/1 JL Audio amp?
NO. My friend has the 12W6 AE (Speacial Edition) and he has them hooked at 4-Ohms to a JBL 600.1, and its SUPER LOUD. I recommend you get a JBL 600.1 or a JBL 1200.1, but thats too much. You would have to lower the bass on the JBL 1200.1.
I have 2 JL 10W3V2, I have a weak amp and cannot pick one at all. Both are new in box. Let me know if you want them. The JL 10W3V2 are a bit stronger than the regular 12W6.
