found hifonics bxi1606 for 249 shipped,seems comprable to aq 1200d if the 1606 is 70-80% of rated power(12-1350 watts)any opinions of build quality of each. i like the looks of the hifonics a lil better but that dont really matter when it comes to sound.
Well, now instead of looking at power, look at quality. That AQ will have all-around better quality than the hifonics would (and would take allot more abuse) I've also heard that the AQ amp is under rated and pushes a bit more than 1200. Hifonics has been known to just all-of-the-sudden crap out, even though it has not happened yet to the 3 I have installed.
