Just trying to weigh my options.. will be looking for an SQL setup, 60% SQ 40% SPL .. I was really thinking an 04-05 XXX on 2000rms in a sealed pod.. I don't want to really lose alot of trunk space but it is an option.. I'm going to be looking for a very nice install..
I found an SI MAG 15", fresh recone for $300 shipped which was tempting
Budget on a sub is roughly $300 shipped, as far as the amp, I'll probably buy one direct from kicker to match the sub.

now I was originally going to run 1 12" but im seriously thinking about making that a single 15" setup.. not sure quite yet how well a 15" would do for SQ.. i suppose sealed it would not be an issue depending on power
i could also run two 12"s on the same power if i can find some in my price range.. i can always get two RE SE 12"s and run em on around 1500rms.. but if i stick with a single 12" setup i can always double it up later on.. if i do the single 15" setup i doubt i'll run two of them in the future..
i'd like to at least keep half my trunk..
took me forever to pick my last setup when i started running the RE SXs.. and now im coming down from that to go SQ and i just can't figure out what to get.. im looking for loud and clean, but without sacrificing too much space.. kind of give and take i know but damnit lol.. im in between
Lol. If you're that tight on your decision I would go with the mag. I can't remember reading anywhere someone saying they were disappointed with the mag. ANYWHERE!!!
brahma wont keep up with any of those. unless your putting her in a tiny sealed enclosure. good luck finding one. wish i wouldnt have let mine go. i had a mk2 from acoustic visions.
But i dont t hink a mag or a xxx will fit in that lil pod. looking at it. not sure how close to scale it is but have you seen an xxx in person? big lil fcker there. same with the mg and actually the brahma

i might just run a single 15".. depends on the SQ i can get from one.. i suppose if i ran aeros i can change the tuning easy.. then just plug it when i do SQ comp
im really thinking a single 15" setup is going to be my next setup.. ran it before.. was great for me.. so why not again
i just don't think a single 12" will have enough SPL for me.. only worry i have is that the 15" won't have enough SQ .. but then again the SX IMO sounded pretty good.. did get sloppy on the quicker notes but it was not in a SQ setup either..
