I think you forgot brokerage/customs fees. With the bill you have done up there, you're probably looking at ~$300-400 worth of brokerage and customs fees. Best way around them is to find a trusted seller, small online store, somewhere you can talk to manager or w/e it takes to get them either marked as a gift, or marked as valued very low, $50-$100 region to be safe.
