I have a 1998 Honda Accord that has a Clifford car alarm with remote start. My son had it installed a few years ago so I am not really sure what model it is. I went to the Clifford web site and looked at the manuals and I think it is a Model 50.5X (or at least the transmitter looks the same). A few months ago while my daughter had the car away at school, the remote start quit working. The car will still turn over when you try to start it remotely but the ignition is not being turned on. I can put the key in the ignition and trun the igniotion on, and then press the start button on the transmitter and it will start right up. So, any suggestion would be appreciated. I have some experience with electronics and if I had a wiring diagram I think I might could figure it out but I don't. I am going to sell the car soon and would like to get the remote start working. The alarm portion still works fine.
