"logan thats an impressive score."

AC mics are unreliable for metering. They can be off up to 10 db or they can be set just right so...

Rob-
A few, I'll load them when I get back in town (I'm leaving for vegas in 5 hours!)
I'm doubling the subs and amps though, so hoping for big things.
Some song off the db jams cd, it was my first time at any comp, so I was pretty unsure/nervous, and there's no meter around me anymore (not even an a/c) so I had to drive over an hour to the show just to get metered. My 200amp alternator was dying on me too :-(.

Should be getting one of those 3 alt brackets and 3 260s from iraggi soon enough to fix that though
I'll post a link here when I get a build log started this upcoming week.
You can ask Colby about it though, it was really good on jeezy- and lots of low end.

Thank you drivingreckless.
I should've posted that before too.

(I guess fortunately) I sold the yukon I had and I bought a tahoe which I figure new car, new system (even with recycling some stuff):

4 btl 18s (2 more on their way)
4 memphis 4ks (in my house)
1 eclipse 4 channel (will most likely get a 2nd)
some kind of components, haven't decided what I'm getting yet, but I'll have 2 sets of 6.5s comps up front, one in back.)
Love the alpine, old or not (never cared for dvd player or touchscreen)
6 yellow tops
4 runs 1/0
3 alts
Sound deadening out the azzz.
Might fiberglass an 8 in the center (budget will see if that comes through- power the rear 6.5s with 2 channels of the 2nd eclipse amp, and the 8" mid bridging the 2 others.)
Just trying to make the build come together between working (literally) 3 jobs and working on my house, while spending time with my wife and helping my 70 year old parents. :-(
Also I JUST got the alarm working right yesterday, and no equipment without that.

Anyway, apreciate the compliment, and I'll definitely have some build pics up (and a few of the old setup).

189 dbs, 12 sony explodes in a giant box (kinda like a metal recycling bin you see on the end of an alley) they had roughly 10 000 sticks of dynamite in the box and i hit 189 decibals, true story

also: the subs handle that daily

142.5 db in daily box tuned to 35 hz on our meter best hit playing young jeezy hypnotze ....compared to 141.7 db on the ac meter but caanan said termlab read lower by the same amount .5 db as the ac meter did for us (he did a review comparing our meter to the termlab)

142.5 db on 54 hz burp on our meter 141.7 db on ac meter

143.0 db in our burp box tuned to 45 hz 142.5 db on the ac meter

all measurements at the dash legal using one audioque 12 2.5 on 600 watts rms

The readings that an AC meter give you are all relative to how it is calibrated. Those numbers could be dead on or way off.

mis quote..."142.5 db in daily box tuned to 35 hz on our meter best hit playing young jeezy hypnotze ....compared to 141.7 db on the ac meter but caanan said termlab read lower by the same amount .5 db as the ac meter did for us (he did a review comparing our meter to the termlab)

143.0 db in our burp box tuned to 45 hz 142.5 db on the ac meter

all measurements at the dash legal using one audioque 12 2.5 on 600 watts rms"

should read

142.2 db in daily box tuned to 35 hz on our meter best hit playing young jeezy hypnotze ....compared to 141.7 db on the ac meter but caanan said termlab read lower by the same amount .5 db as the ac meter did for us (he did a review comparing our meter to the termlab)

142.2 db on 54 hz burp on our meter 141.7 db on ac meter

Then later at home weeks later we hit 142.4 db on our meter after headunit adjustments so we would have hit a 141.9 db on the ac meter with the .2 db gain from adjustments

143.0 db in our burp box tuned to 45 hz 142.5 db on the ac meter

all measurements at the dash legal using one audioque 12 2.5 on 600 watts rms
