I was going to install my headunit tonight and when I went to cut the factory wiring to my car I forgot to unplug the battery and as I cut the constant power it made a little spark. Then I carried on (after disconnecting the battery) as if nothing happened and went to install the h/u. As I wired it up, it doesn't work so I get a DMM and hook the postive to the constant power wire and negative to the ground wire and I get nothing.

Everything else in the car still works fine. I hooked up the h/u straight to the battery and it works fine.

Did I fry my wiring or what happened??

It is the fuse, I'll replace it tomorrow.

I thought I ordered everything for my install but forgot the wiring harness and didn't want to wait a few days for shipping :-)

ooo i got ya, i did that once b4 but once i stopped getting beater cars i started running to best buy and paying the 20$ for it. As long as you know what your doing your all good tho. I jsut like the harness so i dont need a schematic of the car since the harness is always labeled whats what.
