So i just got some kicker ks 6" and hooked them up to my clarion apa210 75W rms per speakers, so they play loud wiht lots of treble for 15-20 seconds then the treble kinda get quieter and the quality is lost, wat could be the problem...no one woud answer in speaker section sorry... Steve
Sounds like my CDT's did before i stopped using the POS xovers that came with them. The tweets would attenuate after a short time of play.
Solved by getting a better xover system, because i was not clipping them as was told by CDT. I was told it was the SQ series xovers....top which i replied "super quiet"? Cuz thats just wtf i got! 2 laughs later, we got me into a set without that protection.
Not your issue probably, but it may come up sometime and someone will have their issue explained.
Well, id wait 10-15 and they would gradually move back up to full range (50% then 75% then 100%) .....until i overdid it again, over the course of 30 minutes.
