Kevin has me sold but i thought I would at least run it by you guys. I was planning on getting two BTLs but I think that I am getting two 15" Alphas instead. What does everybody think.

That first video is not of the Alphas that kevin has for sale right now. That is an older version of the driver.

Second, they are different drivers aimed at different goals. The BTL is a SPL sub, while the Alpha is a SQL sub. For daily system alphas would be much better suited. If you want to enter a SPL contest the BTL would be better. RD makes SPL subs but the alpha isn't one of them.

If you want SPL check into a heavyweight from RD. Comparing that to the BTL would make a lot more sense. But for your system you are probably going to want to take the SQL path.

Thanks for the info. I was wanting a total SPL setup but I was thinking it wouldnt be very fun to listen to. I think I am gonna go with the RDs in that case. I think that I will be happy with them and will provide PLENTY of BUMP!

C mon Logan, you can't sell her haha. That is the ole version Alpha, Reming will be getting the new bad boy. When we did a comparison on a old 12 inch Alpha D4, and a BTL 12, there was only a 1-2 db in difference over the Alpha (I wil find out exact later on and post to make sure that is correct). Evan and Mike did that test I think. The new Alphas are monsters and will give the output for sure, but back it with great SQ as well. We will have more reviews soon to come.
