I have a little over $400 atm and im getting about $100 per week. I cant decide what order to buy some things in. This is what I need: new tires and rims (possibly just tires), new alternator, and a car alarm.

Anyone got any suggestions on what order to buy these in? I really can't decide on this debate myself lol.

alternator tires car alarm.... no rims unless your riding on doughnuts or you already have a nice vehicle... I hate when someone puts 20''s on a dang ford escort.

1 Tires (becomes a saftey issue if they're really worn)

2 Alternator (it's gonna be an HO right? )

3 Alarm

1 - rotate ur tires, or if they are all bad replace them.

2 - ho alt

3- alarm

4- rims

dont buy new tires if ur gunna get rims too....new tires that fit ur stock rims aint gunna fit the new rims

Tires right now have about 60k miles on them. Also I want something different than hubcabs. The car has several engine modifications and underglow lights, and hubs just completely ruin the effect lol. And yes, I need an H/O alternator. The car alarm can come last since I'm only going to need it next year for school.

I really do not have a big voltage drop. Only at night on idle with the volume up the voltage goes to 11.6 on bass lines. Can any1 reccomend me a alternator? I don't really know what size I need. I got an oldsmobile Alero 2000

Thanks M.S. Will 120amps at idle be able to hold my 2 amps? Im running a Hifonics BXI 1206D and a Profile 80wrms x 4 for the cab speakers.

Also I thought a tires/rims combo would be cheaper than buying tires, then rims later.

I think it will be ok, but either way it will have to be, since I don't think you will find an alt with more anywhere else.
