btl 18's are amazing subs mucccccchhhhh better than solo-baris. the lows are just unbeliviably loud. if your use to l5's you will be in for a shock with even 1 BTL...and if you get two and its a good install you look at a 4 DB gain and you could really be winnin sum comps

its a great amp...but i think a BTL would be able to take more than 2k rms....

But don't get me wrong...this will work fine...tho jus to let u kno Hifonics are quite underated...maybe look for a orion, kicker, or earthquake amps...these are all great amps

I would give them more power than 2000 a piece...and also if you are really looking to get loud you should wall them...I know a lot of ppl would be very helpful if you decided to build a wall.

If you want to be going to competitions you might want to consider getting them fully loaded which might bring the price up about 100-200$ im not sure on the exact number, but they will also have more xmax, more power handling, better cooling, and all that good stuff

If you want to run them at 2 ohms each, ebay for Earthquake PHD5000d it will do 3K, only about 500~ shipped for a amp, and if you buy it from the right seller you also get warrantys. :-)

apology accepted. nick you migth wanan think bout 2 15inch fully loaded instead of 2 18s not loaded. get them fully loaded and it will be much better much better. and i dont think id run a hifonics to them even though i have a hifonics. but you could. maybe an orion2500d to each one. it'd sure make you smile
