i'm new to these forums and never heard of treo, RE, or anything else u guys have mentioned but today i was shopping around at the pawn shop and noticed they had 2x RE 12's in a slot ported box, (2 12's in seperate boxes). anyways they wanted $149 and $179.
RE @ 149: had some cuts and some damage to the rubber surrounding the cone
RE @ 179: had a small hole in the cone, like tip of a pen went in it or something.
so my question is, are these worth it/ repairable?...currently i have 2 type r's sealed....but according to u guys here, RE's would be better then my R 12's.
Depends on the type of RE it is.. if they are just RE REs.. it would not really be worth the trouble. RE SEs.. meh.. you could probably find them used for that price in better condition.. and there is someone on here selling an RE SX for $200
so IMO if you were interested in RE I'd shop around the different forums and snag a deal.. it is interested that you found some at a pawn shop though
