I have a 500/1 JL amp and cant decide if i want 2 of the 12w3v2d4's or the new 12w3v3's. I can actually get the v3's for cheaper and i like the look of them better. Has anyone heard either of these on the 500/1 amp before. I plan to go with a slot ported box for either one. Which ones will sound best?
The v3s dont share anything with the v2s..not exactly the same sub. Personally i thought the v3s sounded a bit cleaner than the v2s i had before. I hear they can handle a bit more power thanks to the redesign (im not 100% sure if thats true). If you can get them for cheaper than the v2 then definitely go for it.
