their higher end subs are known to have great sq... but there is no real best subwoofer, only the best for your particular wants or needs.

Thanks, guys. See... I have a 10" Focal (polyglass 27v2) subwoofer, but it doesn't hit the low frequencies very well. I'm realizing that this subwoofer is definately not one to part with, but I don't know how to get any good use out of it! Does anyone know how I should or could incorporate it into my system to put it's SQ to good use? I made a box for it, but I'm not sure what 15 - 30 liters is in cubic ft.
Help me, please.
I've got a 900 watt 1ohm stable amp and another 4 channel amp capable of 400 watts.
Just looking for expert insight because this sub's reputation is GREAT - but I'm not feeling it! It must be the application.
PLEASE HELP.
Thanks.

15 liters is .53 cubic feet.
30 liters is 1.06 cubic feet.

if your looking for SQ, then go sealed. sealed will also help you get the lows. go a little larger then reccomended or use Polyfill, that'll help.

the box/install can definally make or break audio equiptment.

there is no best or worst of anything. its a matter of perception.. does it play loud? does it play good. does it take an butt whippin like a hebrew slave when required? ( wasint being racist) so the end result is does it do at least 4 of the 5 main criteria that you need before u buy a speaker. focal is a good company but i personaly would not own one of thee subs. more of a sq thing to me. like inside speakers but sub no. like alpine. i like the small speakers( 6x9, 6 and a half. ) but would never ever own the subs. they just dont do it for me
