i got this off ebay and hooked 1 supply up just to make sure its not doa and it powers on but barely puts out any wattage.

will it put out all wattage with both supplys compared to doing basicly nothing with one?

Just branch off your power wire temporarily and run to the other supply. Then you'll know.

Just curious. What size power wire are you using right now?

well right now i dont have a distro block but i ordered a fused one earlier today. would it be ok to run just one power supply for a little while? Im gonna run 0 gauge to 2 4 gauges. and i plan on getting a new alternator soon.

Use one feed from the battery to it but power both supplies with it. Even if you use a 3" jumper for now. running 0 to 2 4 is good. aslo use 0 for your ground then.
