Hi my 1st post :-)
I have just bought some 6x9s to go with my 2 vrx subs and 380watt amp. When i was wiring the 6x9s up i think i knocked something out of place and now the amp just displays a red PROTECT light and no green. What could this mean? Not earthed properly?

Oh AND now its just the 6x9s playin cos ive got no subs working and they sound really high pitched, not really playin any mid-range frequencies, UNLESS on my head unit i switch the balance to left/right only so just one of them are playing and then the single 6x9 sounds fine!

oh AND what is the thin wire for that runs between the RCA cables? ive always wondered...

Cheers for your help
