I have an IDMax 12" and I'm not sure what size wires I should use from the speaker to the terminals, and from the terminals, to the amp. It's 1000w rms dvc. Any help is appreciated.
I had it installed in my old car, and when I took it out before I traded it in, I lost the wiring. Image Dynamics site was no help, and it's too hard finding the right results in "search". Thanks!
yeah, because your amp inceases the voltage to make a lot of watts and you dont need very large wire because you dont have a lot of current going through the wires. i have 1600wrms and i use 14 gauge.
Im not gonna be using nothing bigger than 10ga...
