Would my subs hit harder if I bridged my amp?

I have 2 4ohm R's wired to 2ohm on 2 CH.
My amp is supposed to be 600 X 2 @ 2ohms
If it is bridged it is supposed to be I think 1200-1600 RMS Cant remember exactly @ 4ohms.

So would it be better to run them bridged or does it make a difference??

so i take it that your R's are single 4 ohms each?? if thats the case, you can not bridge them. if they were both dual 4 ohm voice coils each, then you could wire the 2 in series / parallel and it would create a final load of 4 ohms and then it would be possible

Well currently each speaker is getting 600rms...so if it puts out 1200 rms when bridged...each speaker is still getting 600rms...
is your amp stable at 1ohm?...if so try that...if not find out the eaxt number of RMS when bridged....then divide by 2...

It is only 2ohm stable unless bridged then its 4ohm.
My R's Are DVC and I can wire 2 4ohm subs to 4ohms.

I was just wondering if my amp would be more efficent bridged to 1 CH.

ooh if they are dual VC then yes, i would suggest bridging the amp. im not sure if this is correct or not.. but since its producing 600 into 2 channels then its in stereo which means it could be sending musical frequencys to the subs also?? correct me if im wrong, because when i hooked up my sub to my home reciever it was in stereo and i could hear voices coming from the sub... so if you bridge it, it would be at 1 channel which is mono which is what you want for your subs..
