Are pioneer Premiers a good choice??

i want to get this pioneer premier is it good or bad you can click to enlarge the image on the website. i think it is a most definate buy to get

^ thats the 2006 Pioneer DEH-P6800MP. not a bad unit, but it only has 2.2V pre outs...

i'm still waiting on my 7800, a step above that one. very simular to the 680 premier.

from what ive herd you dont use more than like 2 volts so the primier ones that put out like 6 volts is just a waist.

if you're spending 200$ on a head unit then maybe thats true considering the rest of your system is budget aswell.

if you compete in events and are using a 600$ "pioneer premier" as matt stated, then NO it's not a waste, and does make a difference.

the pre out voltage is the only thing you can control. the higher the signal strength, the less work the amplifier has to do and the better the sound will be. it will make a big difference.
