I dont know why but i want to blow my Jensen subs. I have duak 12" subs that are now hooked up to my computer, my reviecer i have them hooked up to is 120 watts/ch. and no matter how loud i have it and with all the bass cranked up, i can not seem to make these things bottom out and everything. ...i dont know why i posted this..so feel free to say anything in regards of this post.
you want to kill them? plug the subs directly into your 120VAC wall outlet. they'll get 120VAC, at 60Hz. It sounds quite amusing till they toast the coils. Then they smell a bit odd, and smoke a little.
Simple to do. connect a lamp cord to the speaker or box terminals. I'd guess they'll last about.. 15 seconds perhaps?
