MPH Unregistered guest | I will not answer your question directly as the final choice is a matter of personal preference. Here are some things for you to consider before making your purchase. Research some customer reviews on each model before you buy. How do you like your highs? Bright and snappy the tweeter should be made of a hard metal (say aluminium), for softer more mellow highs, a softer material (say silk) would be a better choice. Take a look at the sensitivity rating for each. If you will be powering them via a factory or aftermarket unit with no amp. Get one with a high sensitivity rating as they require less power to produce the same amount of sound. The number of drivers is also important. A 3-way adds and extra driver over the common coaxial speaker (2-way). Some speakers include crossovers to driect the appropriate frequencies to the appropriate driver resulting in better sound quaility. Adding an amp can also increase the subtle quailities of the music and allow for louder volumes with less distortion. Finally, component speaker sets probably offer the best sound quality so you may wish to consider those as well since the drivers are seaparate and can be aimed at the listener much better than the typical factory replacement locations. Hope this information helped! |
