My freind has a Chevy Sliveroda with the bed cut out to fit 4 L7 i told him he should just put 2 Solo X's in it, what do you think he should do

either one would be loud if your not concerned w/ sq i would say get the 4 it will look a little cooler. if he's goin for show 4 subs would look better than 2.

The 4 L7s will be superior in output, easier to power, and look cooler. If he doesn't plan on burning up and rebuilding subs at every comp stick to the L7's.

kicker 1200.1 but i had 2 10" L7's before the 12's and i traded them in for the 12's

what kind of box do u have, and do u have a HO alternator

lol its sealed and definatly not to reccomended specs and i dont knwo what a HO alternator is?
(i am going to build a ported box soon. lol thats what ive been saying for a while i just dont know the specs)

thats it then, ur amp can not draw enough current from ur alternator, and building ur box to recommend specs would help alot as well.btw i have 4 15 l7's and there are plenty loud

man that must be so loud. have u entered any comps? and where would i get a high output alternator and i have a 1999 Subaru Outback and i donno how to build a ported box to fit my car. lol im a newb

my car hatch rattles alot and i dont want to buy dynamat . how do i "lessen" the rattling. also ive given up on sound quality so what "tricks" are there for SPL??

i used edead v3 and it works great, almost no rattle at all. And im not sure of any "tricks" for spl.lol

peal-n-seal...its really cheap and you can get it at Lowes. or get edead.

also, if you have a hatchback...try a CRX box (ex: subs firing up, ports back) and always test, test, test.

peal-n-seal would it work as good as like eDead or dynamat? and so i was thinking subs firing towards the roof then have the port exit facing the hatch.
