Hi, I just installed a Sony Xplod deck in my dad's 1983 MB 300TD. It's really weird because i have everything hooked up right, but the deck acts like it got turned on for the first time every time i turn on the car and won't save the settings and ejects the disc. I don't really know what could be causing this, I was wondering if it could be a bad acc wire somehow...but the deck turns on so i cant say. If you guys help me out this would be great.
We weren't being rude, but this is a common problem. You most likely swapped the battery constant (yellow) and ignition (red) wires on the head unit. Or...the car doesn't have a battery constant wire for the head unit.
