i wanna get the alpine but dont know if im gonna be able to afford it. i know the alpine is a better overall unit but it seems like the kenwood has comprable features. does the kenwood compare or should i wait to get the alpine? (i ony listen to cd's and my i pod)
Definately the Alpine is the way to go, but those two head units are in completely differnt price ranges. If it's only like another month of waiting, it's well worth it!

The general view will be that the Alpine will be better, but you might not like the sound, listen and use one, and try out a few more. Ebay is a good way to go too..

I was also lookin at the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X789. Any comments on that one?
