currently my tweeter is on my dash under the windshield, i was looking at getting some comps, probably the xr650's, and everyone keeps telling me to keep the tweeters as close to the midrange as possible. if i wanted to move the tweeter onto my door myself, what all work would have to be done to do so?
It isnt a TON of work. You'll just have to re-route the current wire to the door panel then drill a hole in the panel using a hole saw. Then mount the tweet which isnt too hard, just a screw.
I've fired tweeters into the windshield on several cars and was usually satisfied with the results as long as you can tone them down a bit. What type of car is this going in?
