I was wondering if my 2 JL w6v2 12"s will sound good with an 800watt Audiobahn Monoblock amp. I will make a custom box that is an exact replica of the "superb" JL boxes that are on their site. And i wanted to know if $400 is a good buy on 2 12" JL w6v2? Also, any other suggestions...... Thanks, DevilDEG
I personally would never put any Audiobahn amps on a sub with a calibur like JL - though others would disagree . Is that $400 for used subs & how much will u spend on a amp ?

Not very high, a friend wants to sell me his amp, the one mentioned above, for around $200. I can't spend more than $220 on an amp right now, cause the speakers are soo expensive. But I think I'm getting a good deal on the subs....what do you think?

And do you guys think that i should use a closed box, or some other kind? Either way, I'm making it so any tips on board and what to use and not to use would be great.
best amp for it would be JL 1000/1 which is $700 ! - lol
