Say you have a 1000 Watt 2ohm stable Mono Amp. 2 15" DVC 3ohm subs. How would you wire them to get the most wattage out of the amp? Series, parallel, or together? All help will be greatly appreciated.

take each sub and wire the coils in series.
that'll make two 6 ohm subs
wire the subs to teh amp in parallel.
that makes a 3 ohm load.
you'll get about 375wRMS per sub, if the amp puts out 1Kwatt RMS @ 2 ohms

Ok, thanks alot! Earthquake states that the amp can handle down to .5 ohms without getting overheated. And that 1 ohm would be great. So if that's true how could I wire it down to 1 ohm and how many watts would that be. Thanks alot!

wire the coils paralel giving you 1.5 ohms per sub, then wire the subs to the amp paralel for .75 ohm load

yeah if the amp is half ohm stable, go with Todd's suggestion of straight parallel.
most amps aren't made for that which was why I was aiming at the 3 ohm load initially.
