I can fit an 18" SX into a civic trunk :-)

cut out the spare tire well, and fiberglass it in as an enclosure..
then flat mount the SX18 firing straight up.
easy fit, unobtrusive, looks cool.
also gives most all of your trunk space to you for other stuff.
just slap a waffle grille over the cone to protect it.

=)
first off before i get started =)
how big would the box be
cause i orginally wanted to push it up against the back seat and then cut out some wood in the shape of the trunk outline and carpet it so it looks factory made and then reverse the sub so it shows it pretty little magnet
and u think i could fit a ported box like how i want it or just a sealed :/
extra space isnt really a factor i dont remmeber the last time i used my trunk

for a single SX18 you'll want a sealed box about 3cu ft or so.. 3.5 to 4cu ft ported.
those are minimums.. you can go larger.. RE should have specifics..

hey if you don't use your trunk, consider the SX18 freeair..
seal the trunk completely, and mount the sub right against teh back seats firing forward.. it'll use the whole trunk as it's enclosure.
that'd be fun as long as you can seal that trunk off.
