I am new here, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to setup a system to get the full power. 1 1200w mono amp powering 2 1200w subs. I want the subs to get the full 1200w each. As in 2400w total. Please help. I plan on using IDMAX subs and I am not sure what amp.

Let me get this want one amp to deliver 2400 watts rms x 1. Not many options (as far as I have seen). The ones you do have will get expensive. Are you sure you don't want to get one amp per sub? If you look into that there are many options, cheap and expensive.

As for 1 channel amps that will deliver the power you are looking for, here are a few:

US Amps

US Amps

I am not sure on prices, but I know that they are spendy.

There are probably more out there, but these are the ones that I am familiar with.

Orion their newer stuff any good? I know their old school car audio equipment was great. But, then the company was sold and from what I have been told (not that I have heard it for myself) their new stuff is not so great. If you are running those subs, you are going to want a NICE amp...not some entry level gear.
