I already have the PPI PCX440 powering the interior speakers. I'm about to buy a PPI PCX480 to power 1 JL 10w3v2. My question is can I bridge the amp to run just one sub? I know I should get a 2 channel amp but I'm getting a good deal on this amp.

Thanks in advance. Any help would be great.

Ok I'll assume it's a 4ch amp your using. You could bridge 2 channels to the sub and have 2 channels unused, or if it's a dvc woofer you could bridge 2 channels to each voice coil,if the impedance isn't to low.

I know this is a stupid question, but how do you wire a 4-channel amp to power 1 DVC (Dual Voice Coil) subwoofer, a JL Audio 10w3v2. I'm planning to buy the PPI PCX 480 but a couple of my friends are pushing me away from it.

well if its dual 4ohm then you wire one coil to the front two channels and 1 coil to the rear channel's both mono I believe that amp runs 320x2 bridged mono @ 4ohms, so that will fry the cr@p out of a w3.
