my speakers are making engine noise and i dont know how to fix it. im pretty sure that its my gound wire . can a ground wire be to short? or do i just need to put it in a different spot, its about a 1.5 - 2 feet long. i hope its easy to fix cuz i cant listen to music right now.
A ground wire can not be too short, the shorter the better actually. Look at the spot that you have for a ground, is there paint or anything where the wire is going to the cassis? In any case, take some sandpaper and scuff up the area REAL good. See if that doesn't help.
