is this a good box for the mtx 8000 sub 5/8" & 3/4" MDF construction
Sealed with a hot melt adhesive
Charcoal grey automotive carpet
Gold terminals
Divided chambers
1.25 total cubic feet per chamber
9-1/8" mounting hole
Tuned to 58 Hz
32" wide x 13" high x 13.5" deep
Approx. Weight: 42 lbs Upload

im assuming your talking about an 8500 and they are 10" woofers? the box should be fine for them..also 58 hz is a high as tune so dont plan on hitting any of those low notes ie. lil john

no ,,,, is the thunder8000 10" subs so what do u recomend for it . what hz ?

that isnt a good box for them 2 cf per would be good ported if you want really good response out of them

13.5 high 28 wide 21.25 deep with three 2 inch ports per sub 18.25 deep all this is internal measurements (i didnt include a divider)

external measurements using .75 mdf are 15 high 29.5 wide 22.75 deep

all displacement for ports and subs accounted for just drop the subwoofers in and enjoy

that box looks good all except for a nice hump from 35 hz to 50 hz

another thing you might run into is port whistle if the port isnt big enough
