Hey, man. I was wondering what you know about distortion to my sub. I fried the tinsel lead off my little brother's 10" FUBR with this amp and setup. Previous to that, I blew my own FUBR (same sub). Someone told me that it was the distorion... is that true??? I run my system on a stock ,2000 Ford Mustang, Dolby stereo. I really would like to learn about this - because I already got my IDMAX and I'm breaking it in right now. The specs said to break it in for AT LEAST a week, so... it's been 2 1/2 days so far. I don't wanna phuk up my new sub the same way! This new IDMAX has tinsel leads too! Please help!
Oh, and on my amp, the level dial is set at minimum (zero - basically) I figure that's a good way to break it in... right?
