Hello, I am new to Car Audio, and I tried putting together a system, because with my new car, the seller threw in a 12" Cerwin Vega Stroker sub, and it inspired me to do something with the stock audio. How does this sound?

-Alpine CDA-9855 CD/MP3/WMA Reciever
-2 Alpine MRP-F240 40W x 4 Car Amplifiers
-Alpine KCA-420i Interface Adapter for iPod
-MTX Thunder1501D 1500W Class D Amplifier
-4 JL Audio TR570-CX Speakers
-2 JL Audio VR525-CXi Speakers

Well that is what I came up with, I think the total is around 1,500 dollars from onlinecarstereo.com. Any criticism or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

just some ideas. there's tons of good options out there. the fun part about car audio is that you build it how you want it. that's what makes it your system. just take your time, do plenty of research, and you'll be happy with the sytem you built.
