does anyone have Sirius hooked up straight through the HU, without using one of those external displays? How is the ease of use, and overall opinion of it? I'm gonna get it hooked up either way, but would rather not install another display thing. But if the HU itself isn't very functional, then I just might have to. Any feedabck would be appreciated.
I have the same HU and it is very functional...only thing is the HU was made for XM so the amount of characters displayed when using the SIR-ALP1 is cutoff at a certain number (if the band or song name is long you won't be able to see all the letters)...other than that I think it's fine.
