I have decided to get an 18" avalanche and run it with my pcx1500 what type of box do you think will work best??

Well, I'm not really sure. I think their meant for sealed, and I know James is running his 15" in a 2.5 cf sealed box.

did you talk to Chad? what kind of box did he recomend for you? what kind of car do you have and what amp?

i talked to chad he didn't really reccomend one box over another but he said prob better sealed and thats what i plan on doing im not sure what size he said between 4.5cu ft and 8. I have a older ppi pcx 1500 an i got an 01 monte carlo ss

ok so you are going to be putting 500 watts to it. I would go as big as you can. 6cu/ft would be nice if you could do it.

i dont know much about boxes my friend built my last box for me i know this may sound dumb but exactly how do you find out cu/ft

but that amp is also underrated so it would be more like 600 or so. I would go as big as you can with that box. it is going to sound amazing I wish I could hear it when you get it.
