New member Username: MtatePost Number: 5 Registered: Dec-04 | to me that really doesn't sound right port seems a few inches to long not sure though try this site http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 just use the calculator on the bottom of the page...it should help quite a bit just enter a couple of specs for the sub it'll punch out some numbers for you |

Once you take the volume of sub and port from 1.1ft3 you're really looking at tuning about 0.9ft3 to 33hz. You really need to keep the port away from a box wall by its diameter. Could you increase one of you box dimesions to get the extra inch?, or just put a 90deg. bend in your port, or just leave it as it is and see how it goes. |
