It depends on what you're after, but my general top 5 components would be: Dynaudio Focal Utopia DLS Iridium Rainbow (Platinum or Reference) Morel Those are mainly because they match my preference, what you like will differ most likely. Most people in my shop tended to like the MB Quart Q series because of the bright tweeter and punchy midbass. I tend to prefer neutral systems with a balanced sound.

Gee it's so easy to like speakers that cost a million bucks !
good costs money. money for better materials, money to pay better R&D people, money spent in time to build the products in superior facilities, etc. That's pretty much the case for anything. If you want the best, and ask for the best, be prepared for equivelant exchange.
