I just got my system metered ( 2 audiobahn flame compression 12's , 1 hifonics wired at 2ohm for 1000 watt) I hit 138.8 in the floorboard , and 150.2 in the port. In about a month I'll be adding another hifonics amp , running both at 1 ohm for 3000 together. My subs are tuned at 35 hz. I dont know if this is good , decent or bad , so please let me know , Thanks Guys!
138.8 isn't bad. if you want more SPL and aren't worried about SQ, switch to a bandpass box and tune it to the resonant frequency of the car's cabin.. probably around 70Hz. It'll sound lousy but it'll be louder.
Its 3.5 cf per chamber , in a 1989 Ford full size Bronco . The ports are tuned to 35hz. I hit 137.6 in the floor , 138.8 on the windshield , 150.2 in port.
I peaked at 37hz with their cd , I peaked at 35hz with my cd. I think my cd peaked different because it was burnt and when you burn cds it has to compress it.
