First one of my two channels crapped out, now the other channel is gone too. It is a 540watt and its fried and useless to me now. Stay away from it.

Their capacitor leads break, their amps burn up, and their subs explode/burn.

Boy they sound pretty bad. Are they as bad as BOSS amps? I hear lots of horror stories for them also.

actually even worse than boss.
at least a few people seem to be happy with the boss PD series amps, so I can't totally knock those I guess.

Hey man did you happen to read the above? DO NOT buy a Power Acoustik amp, it's a waste of your money. Power Acoustik products suck, they burn up, built like crap, break, and at the least are a fire hazard and huge power hogs.

okay well im fixing to buy a JBL 1200 watt amp to push the same speaker (power amper xp 1000 rms) i believe that this is sufficient amount of raw power to push to amp to its fullest. Does anyone agree/disagree, am i totally wrong?

if the sub is 2 ohms, that'd be more than enough power for the single sub.
probably a lot more than needed.
