These are all sets of two, I have a RF 1001BD one channel that pushes a nice 1000 watts, Which sub do you guys think I should get? I used to / stlil have two kicker solo baric L7's.. and before that I had L5's.. The L5's pounded pretty good for my tastes.. I plan on having a ported box with my old amp pushing one of these selections..

Space is also an issue, so at this point I'm really considering the JL Audios for space and power
I want something thats gonna bump loud like my L5 and L7's did
yea i'm leaning towards the JL also.. for reference i have a 98 bmw 528i, so the question is.. do i really need 12's? or could i do with 10's?

There are better subs than JL for the money, they are overpriced. Get an RE SE 12". If you are willing to pay for two then get two, they will be around $160 a piece I believe. I don't know how much money you want to spend. I am guessing you want SPL(bump). This sub has great SPL and SQ. If you want pure SQ get an IDMAX, it is the best SQ sub made in my opinion. You can get it for $300 if your lucky off ebay, otherwise it will be around $320-340 off of a website. If you get the two RE SE 12s put them in a ported box tuned to 28-32 hz. Also if you wanna dish out around $400 you can get one RE X X X, which is the cool thing to get now a days. I believe it is 1600 rms but 1000 would be great for it.
Anyways if you don't wanna go with any of these, I like Cerwin Vega VMAXs over any other brand, great sub low price, but all of those subs are nice.
well i have about 1400-1700 to spend on 2 sets of component speakers 5.25, woofers, custom made box, and installation.. i'm looking for a site that sells the RE's but their rare i guess..
